Surrender It All Or Walk Away

HandofJesus

1 Corinthians 10:21

“You cannot drink the Lord’s cup and the demons’ cup. You cannot partake of the Lord’s table and the demons’ table.”

The Texas shooting has upset us all. Nearly a whole congregation of believers was lost. Believers. These were people who loved being in the presence of God in His house.

I prayed about this and this morning God begin to talk to me about the importance of God’s people being equally yoked.

We heard today that this man, who was married to a woman who is a Christian, went into that church because he thought her mother, his mother-in-law would be there. His mother in law was not there at that service, but her mother was. His wife’s grandmother was shot and killed by a man she was married to.

I am not going to blame anyone. This is not the time for that. I do want you to know that when we go outside of our beliefs and partner with someone who is not a believer we are in the midst of Satan’s’ territory. When you are in enemy territory do not be surprised when you are attacked.

Yes, I know that life is hard and it gets lonely. But we cannot have it both ways. We either live for the Lord, or we live for Satan. Our home is not this world and as Billy Graham once said, “We are just passing through.”

We in the church have let ourselves be bullied into keeping our mouths shut. We do it with our own children. We want them to be happy and we love them and so we try to justify the things they do that are outside of the will of God. We think that if we are too hard on them we will lose their presence in our lives and we don’t want that to happen.

The church, as a whole, has compromised with sin. When was the last time you heard a sermon about hell? You haven’t. Instead we give feel good sermons, that people like hearing. We end up being motivational speakers. God forbid anyone should leave church under conviction of sin. Pastors have expenses. Bills don’t get paid unless you have a full congregation.

Yes, we have to love people. We have to love them unconditionally, but we need to make sure to let them know what the Word says. If we fail to do so then their blood is going to be on our hands on judgment day.

We have brought sin into the church and we have sat down and had dinner with it. Satan has been clever, and he has played on our heartstrings to the point we don’t let people know of consequences of sin. We don’t let people know that God wants us to be equally yoked.

2 Corinthians 6:14 says, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”

We have forgotten that bad company ruins good morals. We have a generation of young people who have never heard about God in their homes and have learned that it’s all about them and it’s all about how they feel in the moment. Some Christian’s homes have compromised the gospel and I see a lot of people who do not know right from wrong. They are confused and living confused lives.

We cannot pick and choose. Christianity is not a cafeteria. We can’t have a little of this and a little of that mixed in and then cry when we have consequences that are not pleasant.

I am not being judgmental. Just speaking what I feel is from God. I am sure during the time I was backslidden my own children were confused. When I completely surrendered to God I was pushed out of a couple of my grown children’s lives. They didn’t want to hear about God, and they sure thought I was no fun anymore when I wasn’t partying with them. I live with that, and it hurts just as you can imagine it does. The only thing that keeps me going is that I know, that I know, I can no longer live a compromised Christianity, no matter what it costs me.

Its time to either commit or walk away folks, because what we are seeing is a world of people who do not have a moral one and who kill, murder, and maim because they feel like it.

What God Told Me About Suffering

img_1613

I have learned something in the past few years. What I have learned is that sometimes people expect you to be strong when the truth is that if some of the things that have happened to you happened to them, they would fall apart and curse God.

I know that’s true. In the past few years I have had to be the strong one when I should not have had to be the strong one.

Some of you are there; you are losing your job, for the third time. Your cancer is back and you are still weak from fighting it the last time. You are getting evicted and don’t have a clue as to where you will go. You child is ill or dying and yet everyone expects you to go on like nothing is wrong.

I have thought a lot about that lately and I feel impressed to tell you that you cannot depend on people to hold you up. You can, depend on God. We may not feel His presence but He is with us. He loves us and He is watching us and when the time is right our breakthrough will come and those who have given up on us will be SHOCKED.

I have been a caretaker when, if truth was known, I should have a caretaker. I have Lupus, a Spinal Cord injury, and I take care of my husband everyday who can do very little for himself.

Recently, I asked for help and with the exception of a couple of friends no one has helped. That’s fine because through this God is teaching me to be stronger then I ever have been.

I want YOU to know, in the midst of your troubles, pay no attention to those who cockily say to you, “You tell others to believe in God, how come you can’t to that yourself.”

Because for some of us it seems like it’s not one thing to be discouraged about, but it’s a lot of things. Even Job, was shaken when one thing after the other came against his life. Even a man with the faith of Job, questioned God and went to his friends for help. You find out who is your friend at these times too. Most people are takers. Then need YOU to do something for them. They need you to pray for them, but when it’s you with the problem, they find a way to shut you down.

I have been seeking God about these things. Like Job, I will never stop loving and worshipping God.

Yesterday God told me to start getting real with these blogs. He said, “There are millions out there like you, Cathie. Millions who think they cannot go on another day. He said, “I told you the last days would be like this. I told you that in the last days it would be hard to stand, but those who do will be with me in eternity.”

God said the following, “There are those of my children who are desperate for hope. They cannot get it from other Christians because a lot of my children believe that those who have troubles MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG. Therefore so many end up committing suicide from a lack of help. I have put you in these dire situations so that you will understand exactly how they feel.”

God told me “Continue your blog and get real with people. I am angry with my children who live in comfort and luxury and yet refuse to help others. I am sick of them and I am going to turn these things around. I want you to let these hurting ones know, I am here for everyone, but the hurting are especially close to my heart. I was spit on, I was scourged, and I was called a liar. You think I don’t understand your pain?”

He continued, “I had a mission to do, I did it out of love. Yet the first time something happens to some of my children they blame me, or they say, “There is no God.” I told you that Satan is your enemy. Instead of thinking that those hurting one have sinned you should understand that so many of them are PERFECT in my eyes. Satan knows that and he is hell bent on discouraging them. ENDURE TO THE END! ENDURE TO THE END!”

Matthew 24:12-14Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

1 Corinthians 1: 8-9He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

1 Peter 12 4:12-13 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. …

Beloved, we are never as close to God as when we suffer without just cause.

The night before last Jesus spoke to me, “These horrible tests are going to be the hardest. But when you share the dinner with the Bridegroom, it will all have been worth it. They did horrible things to me, so why do you find it so strange when the shoe is on your foot?”

The best thing we can do with these hardships is simply surrender to them, and let God be God. He has a plan, whatever it is we must accept it. We must tell Him the desires of our hearts and then leave those desires with Him.

He is getting ready to turn these things around. We have been severely tested in order to understand the hard testing’s of our brothers and sisters and help them through them. Please quit sitting in judgment of others! We have no idea what their lives have been like. We must pray for mercy for those who are devastated by the trials of life, and especially for those who find delight in their suffering.

Please Help Me To Forgive Them Daddy God!

IMG_2224

“Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.” Matthew 26:30

There are times in life that test us. Times when it takes all we have to just hold tightly to Jesus. Times when we know that without supernatural intervention we will not make it through to the other side of our problems.

The last four years of my life I have felt as if the bad times would never end. Yet, I learned so much and felt like I needed to share those things with others who needed encouragement too.

I have 503 subscribers to my blog. I have encouraged people because that is my gift to the body of God. In 2001, prior to 9/11, I had been praying for God to reveal my ministry to me. In the middle of one night God woke me up and through a scripture reference told me to use my love of writing to encourage others. At the time I was fairly computer illiterate. But I searched around found “In Jesus,” and started blogging. Later I switched to Word Press in order to reach a larger group of hurting people, I have been blogging online, in one form or another, since that time.

My husband and I are committed believers in Christ. We are givers. We believe that anytime God blesses us he calls us to bless others. Please know that I am not boasting about this giving heart of mine. I am trying to share my heart with you and as this blog post goes on you will understand why I am bringing this up. I fast and pray for people and I offer mostly free counseling. Some rare times I have been payed, but I try to never let anyone’s ability to donate for counseling stopped them from getting help.

Recently, because of an emergency situation where my husband and I were being threatened with eviction, not because of not paying rent, not because of destruction of property or illegal activities but because I asked our landlord to possibly fix a few things, he sent us a two week eviction notice. Our lease will be up July 1st, but he had sent a certified letter extending that until September 1st. We agreed and then I made the fatal mistake of asking him about the ceiling mold, etc. He then sent us an email telling us he was recending the certified mail and we had two weeks to get out.

We are older, we are both disabled and, frankly we cannot move our stuff ourselves. In order to move we would have to hire movers. We have no savings because my husband went in the hospital 4 years ago for an operation and ended up with a flesh eating disease that ate his sternum and ribs. He was in the hospital for three months and had seven operation. This wiped out our savings and his life as he knew it. After that the IRS went after us. My student loan payment, that had been deferred, started again. I could go on and on but you all get the picture.

After praying at the end of last week, I set up a GoFundMe account and received not one dollar, not one, “I am praying for you,” nothing. I sure got a lot of looks though from people nosy to find out what was going on. I put it on my FB account. Friends there were folks who had needed help before and I had contributed to their GoFundMe accounts. I had prayed for these people, counseled them, bought from their online businesses and yet not a one of them gave a dollar, or offered a prayer. After 72 hours I deleted the GoFundMe account and my FB account.

People, believe me when I say that I NEVER ask for help. I go directly to God and I did so this time too and felt God advising me to do the GoFundMe account. We need money to move and possibly for a hotel until we can save up for another place to live. We are disabled seniors and no one, even in our own families, offered a dime.

We are in the middle of a lawsuit against the doctor and hospital that damaged my husband. In my prayers for help I had prayed and told God that not only would I pay back anything we got but doubly bless anyone who helped us.

I am writing this because my heart is broken into so many pieces that there is not enough superglue in the world to put it back together again. I am praying for God to help me forgive all the self-centered selfish “so-called” believers. What part of helping your brother and sister in need did they not understand. If they had nothing to give they could have at least said, “I am praying for you!”

Not a word, not one word! I know I am not the only one. Has this happened to you too? If so, comment and tell your story. Get it out here! People need to know!

I still don’t know what to do, but as much as Satan has used people to hurt me, I STILL have not turned away from my daddy God! He’s all I have!

Jesus was betrayed too. Did you know that? Yes, the Bible says he was disappointed that not a one of them stayed awake with him the night before his betrayal. Jesus was spit on, denied and, at first, no one would help him carry the cross! So, if like me, your heart is broken and your soul is weary from being betrayed by so called Christians you are not alone!

I am a writer, writing helps me to get my feelings out! Thank you for reading and please share your own story! With your permission, I will share it here.

“What you did to the least of these you did also to me!” Jesus

They’re Here!

jesusandsatanfighting

About a week ago I began to sense a demonic oppression around me. As I went into my time of prayer with the Lord, I could literally feel, in the spirit, powerful entities gathering around me. It literally felt like my prayers were being purposefully stopped. I had never felt that interference any stronger in my life. I wasn’t scared, because I was mentored as a young woman by a woman who had a deliverance ministry. I know that God is greater in me then Satan and his cohorts. No, scared wasn’t what I was feeling, rather I understood that as we are in a battle for our principles, here in this physical realm, we are experiencing the same thing in the Spiritual realm.

I began to pray in my heavenly language and the oppression ceased. I said, “Wow, Lord, what was that?” Immediately God spoke to me “end time demons,”

That night I had a very lucid dream. I was being accused of something I had not done and I was being handcuffed and taken to jail. After praying about that for almost a week tonight God brought this scripture to my mind, “Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.” Revelation 2:10.

We have entered a period of extreme evil on the earth. Kathy Griffin with Trumps bloody head and a play depicting His assignation. I don’t care how much you hate Trump, those things are EVIL.

If you can’t see what’s going on you are spiritually dead.

They are here, and you can’t get rid of them by loving them unconditionally. We have to put on our armor and press through the darkness and spread the light.

Did God tell David to go out and give Goliath a hug? No, he told him to take a slingshot and put a rock in it and get rid of the giant.

I am not advocating violence, but it’s time to fight back. Pray and ask God what he wants you to do. Ask for wisdom. Your gift was given to you so that you could use it to prepare the coming of the Lord.

Now is the time to step into your full anointing .

Pray, pray like your life depends upon it because it does!

The Secret Reason God Doesn’t Use All Christians

IMG_1988

This morning as I was praying, while washing out bowls to go in the dishwasher, God began to speak to me using an illustration of dirty dishes. God said, “If you pull a dish out of the cabinet that is dirty will you serve Chuck dinner on it?” “No, I thought, I would not.” God said, “Would you throw the dish away?” I thought, “No I wouldn’t, I would wash it first.” The Lord then said to me, a dish is a dish and a Christian is a Christian. Like a dirty dish is not useful to you, neither is an unclean Christian to me. However, once clean you will use the dish and I will use the Christian.”

Personal cleansing is the first step to being used by God. Without exception, when you find someone whom God is using in a great way, they’ve dealt with the personal sin in their lives before God.

It’s not about your past or your status in the world or your talent. God uses small vessels, plain vessels, and even broken vessels. But He will not use a dirty vessel.

2 Timothy 2:21 says, “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean, and you’ll be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” (NLT)

What You Need To Know About the New Apostles

Godgiveshishardestbattles
14 Give a warm welcome to any brother who wants to join you, even though his faith is weak. Don’t criticize him for having different ideas from yours about what is right and wrong.[a] 2 For instance, don’t argue with him about whether or not to eat meat that has been offered to idols. You may believe there is no harm in this, but the faith of others is weaker; they think it is wrong and will go without any meat at all and eat vegetables rather than eat that kind of meat. 3 Those who think it is all right to eat such meat must not look down on those who won’t. And if you are one of those who won’t, don’t find fault with those who do. For God has accepted them to be his children. 4 They are God’s servants, not yours. They are responsible to him, not to you. Let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. And God is able to make them do as they should.
Romans 14 1-4
Revival is in the air. In the past two weeks I have seen and heard “apostles” starting to speak boldly and stepping out to minister to and teach others what they have learned.

A lot of long time ministers, apostles, prophets, etc. are literally freaking out. They don’t know what to make of it and a lot of them are warning against following or listening to these people.

I have been praying about it and God is giving me a bit of knowledge as to how to understand it. I want to share a bit about what I am hearing from God.

First of all this is how it should be. Anybody who has been saved for over 5 years or more should not be CONSTANTLY seeking someone to “feed” and minister to them. A new Christian, like a new baby, is on formula. By the time they are 5 years old they should be eating meat.

Yes, a lot of them have things they need to work out. If they are now serious with God, God will give them the desire to do that.

I once heard a story from an older person who spent years being a missionary. He was so pleased in a young man he met. The man was in love with Jesus. He soon begin to go out with the ministry team to pray for people and instantly the people were healed.

Since they had an important ministry trip coming up the older man told his team to go get the man to come with them. They told the man, “Unfortunately, he has started drinking again.” The older man was wise enough to know the drunk man had the anointing of God, but his flesh was weak.

The older man went into town, found the younger man drunk in a bar. He dragged him out and took him to a store, bought him decent clothes and then took him to a barber shop to have him cleaned up. Then, he took the man on the mission trip. The others on the team couldn’t understand what the older minister was doing. Frankly, several of them were jealous of the treatment the weak Christian got from the minister.

As it turned out the man was greatly used by the Lord on the mission trip and his life was so touched he was never found drunk in a bar again. His anointing was so strong he would lay hands on someone and they would fall, full of the spirit, and wake totally and completely whole in mind, body and spirit.

The definition of an “apostle” is someone who carries the mission of Christ to his or her world. It appears God is raising up a lot of new ones. That’s good because there is a hurting world that needs hope today, more then ever.

Yes, a lot of earthly wisdom comes with age. Wisdom is learned by making a lot of mistakes. Elders must be respected and not cast aside. Abraham live a long life and God used in through the entirety of it. Knowledge however can be learned through studying the word and apply it in our life. Give them a chance. The knowledge is there, the deep wisdom will come.

The older teachers, ministers and apostles should be mentors to the new ones. The new ones need to be respectful of the elders and not arrogantly casting them aside as being old and no longer relevant.

Mistakes Believers Make

Devilcitesscripture

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

“According to Wikipedia the Holy of Holies was covered by a veil, and no one was allowed to enter except the High Priest, and even he could only enter once a year of Yom Kippur (the day of atonement.) Now before the priest can enter the Holy of Holies he must be made clean.”

Coming into God’s presence is like entering the Holy of Holies to some extent. God’s presence is Holy and perfect. Man’s presence is one of unholiness. We must enter into God’s presence on His terms.

However, God made us and He knows that we are imperfect sinners able to stand before Him, in a state of grace, only because of what HE did for us on the cross.

Ministering to God’s people is a place of responsibility. We are responsible to God, first and foremost, and then to those people we minister too. By minister I am not just speaking here of those who are ordained ministers. I am speaking to any Christian who witnesses God to others through words and deeds. I am talking to anybody that wants to encourage people, or daily lets others know they belong to God.

The responsibility we, who call ourselves Christians, have is to make sure that our lives are set apart from those that don’t know God. If a person who looks up to us sees, or hears about, us being involved in secret sin they will think that all Christians are a bunch of hypocrites and it doesn’t just turn them against us but also against God.

So today I want to encourage you to really get to know the lives of those whose teaching you sit under.

Recently God spoke to my heart that we are taking the same demon on us that our leaders may have attached to them. I questioned the Lord. I am a person that must be convinced of the truth before I believe. I want scriptures and teaching to back things up.

God began to explain it to me like this, suppose we sit under a minister that is married and cheating on his or her wife. That person is not following God’s law on marriage and is not only breaking the marriage covenant but the commandment that says, “Thou shall not commit adultery.”

So lets say a person goes to him for marriage counseling. If that person is having an affair what do you think the pastor’s advice to this person will be based on? His knowledge of God’s law or his own experience that is not what God allows?

It will be hard for that person to guide us right, and if we do not know any better we could become further steeped in sin. That is why you may see a church where not only is the pastor breaking the law of God but he may be encouraging those who are under him to do the same. I have noticed that now that they are in deep sin, instead of repenting before God, they will find scriptures to back them up. Of course, the scripture is taken out of context but the new Christian may not notice that.

I have found that most people, when doing things they know is against the Word of God, will find a way to justify it. Things like saying, that was only in the Old Testament or that was only for those days and not for today. My favorite is this one, “God loves me too much to want me to be unhappy.”

The Word of God says this, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

So how God felt about things in the old days is the way He still feels about things.

This scripture is often taken out of context to ignore sinning of ministers, “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:15

It is not then smart for us to go around gossiping and mocking a minister of God. It is however smart for us to understand that to stay in that place is not what God wants us to do. Pray for the person, pray for your situation and let God work it out. To stay there is not helpful for you. A pastor is supposed to be “a covering” over us. A pastor is to shepherd God’s people.

We all know people who sinned and God still used them, after they repented, in a mighty, mighty way. I think of David. God had His hand on David from his childhood. David did not lose his anointing when he sinned, but God did bring some troubles to him that caused him to repent and ask God’s forgiveness for his affair with Bathsheba and having her husband killed. God then restored David. There is hope for everyone. It’s God’s business and not mine or yours.

When Chuck and I first got married he was going to a church he liked. Because I moved away from the town and church I was going to, when we got married, I started going to Chuck’s church.

One of my gifts is Spiritual discernment. I began to notice that the pastor was out of line with his foster daughter. It was so blatantly bad that it appeared his wife knew about it but was too physically sick to leave the marriage.
I spoke to Chuck about it. He didn’t say much but I noticed that he then began to look at some of the things going on and I could see it troubled him.

I kept quiet but I was praying for Chuck to be truly convinced that I was right. Finally, one day a few things happened and the pastor and his foster daughter’s affair was made clear right in front of Chuck and me.

At that point Chuck and I discussed it on the way home and he said, “We are leaving there. We aren’t going back.” Later, people from the church would call us and try to find out why we were leaving. We had decided to not discuss it with anyone. We would tell them, “It’s a personal reason.” Even the deacon called us, then his wife. Still we declined to tell them. I don’t know what happened to that man, and his church. I can say that we still, to this day, are thankful God gave us the strength to not gossip and simply leave the church.

There was no way that a man, that out of step with God, should be leading and guiding others.

Today there are a lot of ministers, prophets, apostles, and teachers cropping up. The majority of them are wonderful people, ordained by God and full of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for discernment. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

Move on, and pray for the person. Unfollow them on Facebook and go on.

The Promised Land And You

IMG_1936

I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live I live by believing in God’s Son, who loved me and took the punishment for my sins. Galatians 2:20

Don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself and wondering why your old friends, and sadly, some of your own family don’t spend time with you anymore.

The truth is that when you got to know Jesus personally He sent people and put opportunities in front of you and taught you about miracle living and your whole life changed for the better.

You stopped drinking and doing drugs. Your whole life changed. You started to believe in YOU and that you could do all things with the help of God..

Now you are moving on up! God has promoted you! You have a great job, an education and a decent place to live now! They look at you and it makes them uncomfortable. They no longer have an excuse because every time they see you going from miracle to miracle they know that there is no reason they cannot be a super-achiever too!

It’s easier for them to ignore you then to admit they have no one to blame for their lives being the way that they are but themselves!

So now you know. You haven’t done anything to them. You haven’t offended them. They liked you in that gutter with them.

Praise God that you were lifted out of the mire and your feet were set on solid ground. Pray for them but you can’t go back there, God knows you can never go back there because you are on your way to the promised land. You no longer belong in Egypt!

In Him,

You Have Not Because You Ask Not

Youhavenot

“Ye have not, because ye ask not.” James 4:2

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, What ever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”
“Before, you asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23-24

That first scripture was hanging me up. It says that we have not because we ask not. Well, I was asking but not receiving so I began to do a study on that scripture. I wanted to know what I was missing.

As you can see there are other scriptures that say the same thing.

Through study, and hearing the voice of God, I believe there are real reasons our prayers often go unanswered.

First we often ask with bad motives. Bad motives, I believe, are when we ask out of selfish reasons. We want something, perhaps, so that we can brag about it to our friends and delight in seeing their jealousy. That’s a wrong reason.

Another reason our prayers are not answered, at times, is that we ask for something that is not good for us and will led us into sin. For example, we cannot ask the Lord to bring us someone else’s husband and expect that He will do that. It violates His law on marriage.

However, the main reason most of our prayers go unanswered is that we have limiting beliefs. We may not believe that we are good enough, smart enough, or talented enough for what we are asking God for. Those limiting beliefs do not line up with God’s thoughts and so those prayers go unanswered.

Let’s start by understanding that we are God’s beloved children.

As children of God, he thinks we are special. He made us and like any other artist he is proud of his work.

I like to use the example of the way we love our own children. We think they are special. We think they are almost perfect. When we do recognize their faults, we still believe that they have the ability to change into the best version of themselves. We don’t give up that belief. We don’t like it much when, even though they are trying to help, other people talk badly about our children.

When we understand our relationship with Daddy God it helps us to understand, even more, His love and care for us.

So now we have to look at the words that come out of our mouths and the thoughts that come into our minds. Do they line up with God’s thoughts about us?

Let’s use the example of a man who is not what we would generally think of as handsome. We may not understand it but often we see him dating beautiful women. We know, for example, he is not rich. So how does he always date beautiful women?

The answer is that his thoughts, of himself, are not negative. He doesn’t think, “I am not that great looking, that woman will never go out with me!” Instead he thinks he looks great. He has that self-confidence that people are drawn to and therefore his thinking about dating beautiful women is not limited. He believes the sky is the limit and, because God thinks he is special too, he asks and he receives.

That is an example of our thoughts aligning with the thoughts of God.

Now, lets take this into the area of finances. We may be praying for God to bless us financially while at the same time thinking, “I am not going to make it. I can’t seem to dig myself out of this hole.” Or we might think, “I would start my own business but I don’t know how to make my own website or talk to people.”

Those are examples of limiting thoughts that do not line up with the word of God. To change things we need to start believing that we are as smart as the next person. We can believe that with God’s help we can figure out how to make a website. We can go online and do a Google search, on “How to make a website.”

God says, “Beloved I wish above all else that you would prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.”

In order to get answers to our prayers we have to get rid of limiting beliefs about our abilities. We pray and we believe that we can do anything and we believe that with God’s help NOTHING is impossible. We then step out towards our dreams believing that God is partnering with us to answer our prayers.

Romans 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

In order to build up our faith we have to soak ourselves in God’s word. We turn to Christian Radio in our cars; we spend time each day in the bible, we listening to Christian CD’s or sermons for free on You Tube. All these things will increase our faith.

Music is a trigger. It often puts our mind into believing the wrong things about the world and acceptable behavior. There is nothing wrong with secular music but we need to equal time listening to positive things too. If not we can find ourselves becoming really jaded.

I believe, as we start to align our minds with Christ, we can ask and we can receive, abundantly, those things that our hearts desire.

Align Your Mind With The Mind Of God

Thoughts

Psalm 34:17-18 the righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Our moods can change really quickly. One minute everything is great and the next minute we our in a bad mood and obsessing over one problem or the other.

I recently had an incident in my life that I could not seem to break free of obsessing over. To me it is an emotionally painful situation and it never seems to get better no matter how much I pray. Believe me I have prayed until I am blue in the face and the situation doesn’t get better. I was praying in the spirit this week when God began to download to my mind a teaching for others and myself about the danger of obsessing over problems and how doing that makes things worse.

God began to show me what happens in the spirit world when we focus on one problem obsessively. Without knowing it the problem gets bigger and we actually attract more problems by constantly praying in a negative way about our problems. We have all been there. We start to tell the Lord about what is going on, from our perspective, and we begin to tell him how awful the situation is and that we “just do not know what we are going to do about it.” We go on from there with one negative confession after the other. In the Kingdom of God, one of the Kingdom principals is, “What we say is what we get.”

God begin to speak to my heart and said the following, “If this situation was completely rectified and everything concerning it was perfect, how would you feel?” I thought about how I would feel without the problem. I determined I would feel happy, peaceful and secure. God then said, “I want you to imagine yourself feeling like that every time you think about it and then pray to me with gratitude that you feel happy, peaceful and secure. Do not mention the problem, I already know your problems. Just thank Me as if everything was exactly as you want it to be. That puts your mind and my mind as ONE. I want only GOOD things for you always, you already have those things it’s simply the enemy of your soul who wants you fretting over things that you, already, have every right, as MY daughter, to have. Every time you start to obsess over things just STOP and go to that peaceful place in your mind where you feel happy, peaceful and secure. Before you know that it will become habit, and things will line up to bring answers to your problems that make you feel happy, peaceful and secure. You must align your thoughts with MINE and not those of Satan!”

You see, God has a purpose for each life. He never gives up on that purpose, and as we keep our mind on the positive attributes of God’s Kingdom, and His will for our lives, we shift the negative focus to one that is positive and the heavenly realms respond to it and bring back positive things in our lives.

The same thing can be said about our finances and what we see as a lack of money. We look at what we see around us and we panic. We say things like, “The economy is bad, the world is in a bad state financially and I do not know what to do!” Our minds do not know the difference. If we say those things then those things come to pass. Instead we can shift that by feeling the same feelings we would feel if we had enough money to pay our bills on time, do some things we want to do and bless others. We then start to praise God for the things we do have. God operates in an attitude of gratitude. So many times we hear people say, “Get real, tell it like it is!” Telling it “like it is” will keep things like they are, in our lives, forever.

The Word of God says, in 3 John 2;  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.”

What story are you telling everyone today? Are you full of self-pity and worry? Do you repeat that over and over every time you speak to someone? Doing that sets us up for failure. Instead write a new story for yourself. Set goals and see yourself as a person that has the power, with the help of God, to tear up the bad chapter in your story and write one in which you are happy, healthy and prosperous.

Focus on your God given purpose in life. Do not focus on the problems.
